Pan Am Hat’s by Customers

It is nice to watch my millinery pattern/tutorial customers got to work and make their own color versions of my Pan Am inspired hat pattern. These are photos that one of them sent to me.

This outfit was made my Helene Lynn Nash for her daughter. Here you can see she used two much lighter shades of blue and it worked very well. Helene shared with me that the lighter shade of fabric was very thin, so she added a lightweight padding under the top of the crown. I have done this many times when I have been given a thinner fabric from costume designers to make hats to go with outfits they are making. It’s all about using your initiative.

If you are interested in making your color and version of my Pan Am inspired Hat pattern/tutorial, please contact me

The price of this tutorial is $19.95
