This one of a kind fascinator headpiece has been completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  My pieces are designed and made the same way I make my hats, in full millinery fashion. This piece has a beautiful floral necklace and was my inspiration to design the matching fascinator.  Pink and pale green give an air of romance so I made the flower out of sixteen layers of organza.  I dyed the biot feathers light pink and pale green.  To see more photos please see my blog.  Every piece I make has it's own story and my blog is a diary of my work.

From the base which I designed in wing shapes, and made from buckram and wired the edge.  Each piece is lined the same way I line my hats.  Also included with this headpiece is a vintage rhinestone necklace.

My inspiration for this piece was the Black Swan movie.  I wanted to design my own version and this is the result.  I designed it so that it would take apart for storage, free of dust.  You can see much more on my blog.  The beautiful white feather cape is also available for purchase.
