Pink Lace Cape & Fascinator I am offering this one of a kind lace mini cape with matching fascinator.  Cape is one size and will fir size 8 to 12.  The fascinator has a pink lady's head cameo on the feather pad of biot and trimmed turkey feathers, dyed by me. Everything has been made by me.  I used a beautiful organza embroidered lace to make the cape and cover the fascinator.  All sewn seams are French seams so that they are completely covered.  This is important in a see through item.  I hope you will visit the blog to read all other information.

Wear this unique set for your next special occasion, romantic night out or because it makes you feel good.  I designed both pieces from the patterns to making everything it took to produce this set.

The fascinator is a buckram base which I designed and covered and lines in red satin.  Then I hand sewed the rose petals all over and made the rose from the same rose petals.  It has a French clip back so that you can turn the fascinator any direction according to your hairstyle and taste.

The collar I designed the pattern and the top is red satin covered in petals, lined with red cotton for comfort around your neck.  It has a simple snap closure and you can wear this piece in place of a necklace or over a dress or jacket.

I designed this one of a kind, very unique cape for a woman who really wants something different for her fall/winter wedding to either wear as part of her bridal outfit or to wear when she changes into her honeymoon outfit.  When I made this cape I hand cut every feather to get the shape I desired.  I have no clue how many feathers I used to cover the cape because I lost count an hour after beginning.  I formed a pattern so that each feather overlaps the other and was careful how to finish the design around the neck and front edge.  The feathers were added over white corduroy fabric and it is lined in white satin.

The fabric is stamped velvet, in a beautiful shade of burgundy and fits women's size 8 to 12.  It is completely lined with burgundy colored satin.  The flower comes with the cape and has a broach back and small set rhinestones sewn in the center.  It can be removed if you desire to wear a different broach with the cape.  The flower also comes with a small alligator clip so that you can wear it in your hair. The velvet fabric must be dry cleaned.
