This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk/Goth enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then chose fabrics that would compliment each other and an assortment of feathers.  This piece has three fabric types and six feather types to make it extraordinary.   Please note that this piece also comes with a vintage necklace.

This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then part of the hat is covered it with magenta fabric with black net lace as an overlay.  The rest of the hat is covered with black crushed velvet and trims are added.

The style of this hat is entirely different than that of my top hats, but it is still in the 'perch hat' category, Perch hats perch on top of your head, held on by a rolled elastic band that goes under your hair at the back and is hidden by your hair.  This is a new design that I have worked on this past week, perfecting this style with a pointed front of the brim and it only curves upwards at the sides at the back half of the brim so that most of the brim is exposed flat at the front.    It is the perfect accessory to wear at your next Victorian, Dickens, or Steampunk Festival or for your wedding.  I first covered this hat with both white satin brocade and dark green sheen fabric.  I added trellis design dark green ribbon on the top of the crown and the center front.  The feather pad is a mixture of a white ostrich feather, peacock feathers and peacock sword feathers.  Then there is a sprinkling of tall green stripped coque feathers and dainty white hackly feathers.

This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then covered it with black crushed velvet.  I then covered the brim with white French veil and made a distinctive large feather pad of a tall white ostrich feather and 3 black baby ostrich feathers, enhanced with black and white biot feathers.  The feather pad is finished with a large black and white Victorian ladies head cameo.  It stays on your head using rolled elastic that goes under your hair and can be hidden in your hair.

This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then covered it with red velvet and red with black poker dot satin fabrics.  The brim is covered with black French veil and I made a large feather pad from black baby ostrich feathers and tall stripped black coque feathers, finished with a hand made black and red organza flower.  This piece holds on to your head with rolled elastic that goes under your hair and is hidden by your hair style.

This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then covered it with black faux snakeskin fabric and black and hot pink poker dotted corduroy fabric.   To trim the front of the hat I added hot pink French veil and a rhinestone pin with clear and black rhinestones.  On the back of the hat is a large feather pad that I made using hot pink curled goose feathers, black marabou fathers and pink guinea feathers.  The hat has a black rolled elastic band that holds the hat on your head by hiding it under and in your hair.  This piece is lined in hot pink satin.   To see more photos and read more details please visit my blog.

This one of a kind perch top hat has all the bells and whistles that any steam punk enthusiast or lady who loves Victorian clothing will be delighted to add to her collection.  It is my own design and completely made by me, the teacup milliner.  I first designed and made the wired buckram hat and then covered it with deep purple crushed velvet fabric and lined it with purple satin.  I made a large peacock feather display using a single peacock feather and curled sword feathers with a rhinestone peacock pin (broach) at the back of the hat.  I added a band of dark green velvet ribbon with purple French braid over it and tiny rhinestones around it.
