Red & Black Pan Am Stewardess Hat

When I designed this cute stewardess hat, I designed two ways of trimming the hat. The first style has an added wing. This one has a wrap around band so that the design takes on a different look and can be two colors. This one is bold in red and black.

The hat has a simple embroidered wing patch to make the band stand out. You can’t but help recognize it is a stewardess hat when it has wings.

The stylishness of this hat is amplified by the divot down the center of the crown. I covered the crown with red velvet and the main body with black suede. Then I added the band, also covered in red velvet.

This style of hat would suit most women’s faces and has very charming appeal. Just get out that well fitted suit and you are ready to go. Don’t be surprised if you get picked up by a very cute guy.

My hats are always completely lined and finished inside.

A pattern and complete photographed tutorial isĀ available for $19.95.

Hi, I was wondering if you sell the finished version of the red and black Pan Am hat and what would be the cost. It is for a wedding aviation theme.

    Thanks. Edie
