Wildly Elegant

Time to break out of the box and get a one of a kind hat this fall.
Everyone should have a wild but elegant hat in their wardrobe for the day they wake up and want to make the statement “Look. This is the real me!” It’s called breaking out of the box.

This photo shows the fabric up close.  I chose to trim this hat in black but kept it very simple.  A simple black velvet band and an elegant rhinestone centerpiece.  It needed nothing else because the fabric says it all.
I have always loved wild cat fabrics and I have never seen them go out of style or fashion. I recently found some faux suede with a taupe background color and was very happy. I am trying to work on my one of a kind fall collection and here in Texas it’s extremely hot and all the fabrics available are for summer. However, I went to a different area just before Memorial Day weekend and found this one. It immediately went into my suede collection.

Here you can see a side view and it shows the French gimp that I trimmed the edge of the hat.
Get out that special black outfit you love so much this fall and add an elegant hat.  Believe me, doors will open for you and life will never be the same.
This hat will bring out your wild side.
The back of this hat is simple.  Only your back should stand out when wearing it.
The hat size is small.  21. 1/2″
Time for my tea and my breakfast.  I bought this bone china cup and saucer in Newfoundland Canada when I lived there in 1971.  My husband was working on a rig for the summer only and I was pregnant with Kim at the time.  We came back to Texas before she was born in December that year.  I still treasure this set.
